ABSTRACT

This study verified for the 6 areas evaluation items developed to measure the basic mathematical ability of science and engineering college students at A University. And a effect of whether to complete of the online mathematics learning content-based Extra-curricular mathematics program on the improvement of basic mathematics ability was analyzed. As a result of the study, the evaluation test tool in 6 areas was able to confirm the quality and validity of the items that can measure the basic mathematical ability of science and engineering college students. In addition, it was confirmed that the students who took the Extra-curricular mathematics education program improved their scores on the basic mathematical ability evaluation than the students who did not.
