The Research Institute of Social Science, Chosun University was established in March 2008 by integrating the Institute of Social Sciences within the College of Social Sicences with the Institute for Northeast Asia Research(formerly the Institute for Unification Affairs) that established in March 1970 for the purpose of research on Korean Peninsula unification, national develpoment strategies research, and international academic exchanges.
Currently, the Research Institute of Social Science published Northeast Asia Research, a specialized research journal in East Asia, and Seoseok Social Science Forum, a comprehensive academic journal in the field of social science, twice a year as registered sites of the Korea Research Foundation.
The Research Institute of Social Science aims to revitalize academic research in the field of social science such as Politics, Administration, Military Science, Journalism Communications, and Social Welfare, and promote practical academic activities for regional and national policy and the development of Korean society.
We ask for your continued participation so that various and creative academic arguments and discourses can communicate beyond academic compartments through the Research Institute of Social Sciences.
