AB - In The word 'East West Philosophy' there are some difficulties; in which doing philosophy we cannot escape from the geographical limit of east and west that is the very exterior limitation. To solve these difficulties, I propose a new but used in accustomed way by which we can do philosophy in a neutral and more philosophical way. In the introduction of this article, with a critical attitude I summarize why the 'east west philosophy' should be changed to the 'comparative philosophy.' I also tried to discover most of arguments of 'Eastern Dialogue' or 'Eastern Alternative Dialogue' have been misled and exaggerated. In my main arguments, I suggest two ways of formality and intrinsicality in which we can make up the method of comparative philosophy. Through the formal way we set up the attitude and eligibility of doing the comparative philosophy. A Koreanized philosophy is exampled. Meanwhile, through the intrinsic way we also fix the requirement of identity for the comparative philosophy. Thus the philosophical meaning of relation is illustrated. In conclusion, I show east west philosophy might be a subject of comparative philosophy but not the methodological way itself.
