AB - This case focuses on the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, which applied RFID technology as a record management system for efficient record management by identifying the characteristics of the agency’s work that requires the management of large and similar nonelectronic records. When issuing RFID tags in conjunction with the business system, the records management system automatically obtains metadata from the system and secures it as a list, and records management personnel actively use it as the basis for overall records management tasks. To that end, the company reorganized its business processes, designed functions that reflect its unique business, and established infrastructure. These resulted in easier identification of the output and holding volume of accurate records, and work efficiency. Finally, people in charge of the work increased their awareness of records management.
