ABSTRACT

This study analyzed HCAI elements in Korean secondary AI system design-based education and proposed educational design directions. A scoping review and document-based content analysis were conducted on 45 articles published in KCI-listed/candidate journals from 2021 to April 2026. Findings showed that programs were STEM-oriented and project-, inquiry/practice-, or problem-solving-based, while HCAI elements were concentrated in the properties dimension, especially performance and result verifiability. The limited presence of user- and context-based problem framing, fairness and inclusion, and safety, privacy, and harm prevention suggests the need to connect user problems, human activity support, value and risk judgment, and explanation, modification, and re-verification of AI outcomes.
