ABSTRACT

This study analyzed the original texts of the manuscripts of Jeongchangwon in borrowed-character expression (1st grade) and made a comparison investigation on the borrowed-special-character expression in ancient times づかい (Gab and Eul grade), honorific expression and auxiliary verb expression throughout the whole ancient literature from the viewpoint of borrowed-character expressionfocusing on the vocabulary of such original texts. In Chapter 2 ‘Analysis of Original Text’, only a general analysis was possible because,due to the characteristic of the manuscript, there were some parts that had missing characters or seemed to be inplain-borrow-character expression or even showed no meaning. As for the honorific expression and auxiliary verb expression (Gaband Eul) in Chapter 3 and 4, focusing on the borrowed-special-character expression in ancient times づかい related to the conjugationform, the borrowed-character expression in ancient manuscripts such as the relevant grammatical utilization and conjunction wereanalyzed and compared with various literary materials in ancient times.
