Purpose: The purpose of this study was to grasp health management status of female cadets in ROK. Methods: This triangulation study was conducted to 499 female cadets from 5 military academies using structured questionnaires and to 37 female cadets using focus group interviews from June in 2017 to March in 2018. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Results: The BMI was 21.05±1.76. Participants with general health status more than average was 90.7%. Participants with having gone through treatment of hospital admission was 64.8%. Participants with irregular menstrual periods was 34.3% and 95.4% had pre-menstrual syndrome. 74.9% had dysmenorrhea, 67.1% among them had experience having painkillers. 30.3% had experience of women's health examination, while 49.3% did not have knowledge about cervical cancer screening. Theme of qualitative interview on the health management status among female cadets was 'Being in need for implementation and education on health management in light of female cadets' characteristics'. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is required to develop and implement regular health care education for female cadets considering women's health characteristics from the time of basic military training before admission of military academies.
