Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a health management guide book for female Korean army soldiers. Methods: This methodological study consisted of development process and review process for the guide book. The development process was performed by related literature reviews and focus group interviews(FGI) of 13 participants for the content of the guide book. The review process was performed by 6 military experts. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, content validity index, and content analysis. Results: Content analysis of FGI showed 10 generic categories of the guide book (training-related health care, prenatal care, genitourinary health care, genitourinary disease management, nutrition management, health behavior management, menstrual care, service-related health care, psychological care, and common illness care). Based of the review of experts, the final version of the guide book was consisted of 4 chapters as follows: female soldiers in training, management of factors affecting mission, women's health care, and pregnancy care. Conclusion: The health management guidebook would be used to promote health management of female Korean army soldiers to preserve their combat power.
