AB - In 1970's, Lim Jin-taek have especially experimental work on the types of Madangguk. It is that performed to Madangguk with already published work, in some other way following the style of traditional masked dance. In his performing works of that doing principle axis university theatre club, he theorizes the direction theory of Madangguk. Lim Jin-taek's direction theories is diametrical opposition of general theatre theories. He presents concrete direction theories that changed the concepts in stage to madang, the audience to spectators, plot to algi and tulgeori(types). And his theatre viewpoint of that the populace is the subject of theatre expended direction theory of Madangguk to Madanggut.
Madanggut is the concept include whole theatre behaviors. In Madanggut, the audience is the subject of performance and they actively participates the performance from beginning to the last. The intention about Madanggut is consistent to Lim Jin-taek as a local culture festival plan maker at present. The Madangguk direction theory of Lim Jin-taek in 1970's has very important value as an experiment about Madanggut style and as a positive consequence of actualizing Madanggut.
