ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the accomplishment standards of media Language in '2007 revised curriculum'. And the purpose of this paper is to review New 'Korean' textbooks for middle school leaners. I have analyzed all accomplishment standards of media Language in 23 kinds of textbooks that had obtained authorization. Most these textbooks have organization that the content from six domain of the National Curriculum, but as a matter from seven domain. The media language fit this seventh domain. In particular I have compared the accomplishment standards of media Language with the accomplishment standards about play-literature. As a result most editors of the textbooks confuse media language education with the play-literature language education. This confusion impede the progress of normal media language education and play-literature education for middle school leaners.
