AB - In this research, the theory of systematic bibliography of Cheongjanggwan(靑莊館) Yi Deok-mu(李德懋) is examined. He was a man of great scholarship in the late Joseon dynasty. It is well known that he was a great writer with an extensive knowledge about books, and advocated his own theories of reading and the textual bibliography. However, his abundant discussion on the theory of systematic bibliography based on his wide and profound reading, is not much known. In this research, his theoretical achievement and contribution in the scholarship of bibliography in the late Joseon Dynasty is investigated.
