AB - Many of the edition of Yulgok Yi-I(栗谷 李珥)’s Sunghakjipyo(聖學輯要)are now handed down but when exactly has been published and the number and type of existence, this is how much not yet been identified. Through this study, the following facts were confirmed.
first, Woodblocks were made in Haeju(海州) and Jeonju(全州). They were in the managed of local a lecture hall Seowon(書院).
second, Sunghakjipyo’s first edition was printed in Haeju, and then printed due to Yi-gui’s recommendation. Third edition was printed in Jeonju, Sookjong Daynasty, metal print book by Mooshinja(戊申字) was printed three times in Sookjong & Youngjo Dynasty. At least printed nine times include YulgokJeonseojabon(栗谷全書字本).
Third, As a form of a book is 64 kinds over the country, 21 woodblocks, 18 metal print books, 16 manuscripts, 9 new-metal print books. Include 21 books that the Sunghakjipyo in the Yulgok Junseo, we currently have 85 Sunghakjipyo. I confirmed that wood block was two different types, and Their relationship will be formed bottom-book(底本) and reprint copy(飜刻本).
