AB - the repaired Bo-Sa Wonjong Gongsin-Nokgwon(保社原從功臣改修錄券) is a book which recorded the titles of position and the names of retainers who made Suk-jong into Chosun dynasty’s king. This study aims to research into existing the repaired Bo-Sa Wonjong Gongsin-Nokgwon, which were to analyze the reasons of grant, structure and forms, the characteristics of meritorious retainers’ official positions and social status. As the result, the repaired Bo-Sa Wonjong Gongsin-Nokgwon is the metal typologic book which was made up Mu-Sin(戊申) letter type. The structure of the the repaired Bo-Sa Wonjong Gongsin-Nokgwon was composed of the beginning․the body․the end. Bo-sa Wonjong meritorious retainers formed the total of 3,940 persons (1st grade: 2,267 persons, 2nd grade: 681 persons, 3rd grade: 489 persons) with 242 official titles. Also an analysis of their social status confirmed that 2,267 persons were “Yang-ban(兩班)” which constituted the largest group (2,267 persons: 57.5%), “Jung-in(中人)” were second group (681 persons: 17.3%), “Yang-in(良人)” were 503 persons(12.8%) and “Chun-in(賤人)” were 489 persons(12.4%).
