AB - This study has examined the publication of Jeongkwanjeongyo(貞觀政要) which was widely adopted as a textbook for the disciplines of kingship in East Asian kingdoms. The results are as follows. Firstly, this study analysed several records about Jeongkwanjeongyo in Goryeo and Joseon Dynasty. Secondly, this study investigated all the book of Jeongkwanjeongyo owned in domestic and foreign institutions. In result, this study classified book of Jeongkwanjeongyo into six editions. Of that, Goryeomokpanbon(高麗 木板本) and Jeongkwanjeongyojoohae(貞觀政要註解) were sorted into the old edition of Jeongkwanjeongyo before the publication of Gwajikbon(戈直本). Editions published in Sukjong and Youngjo period were also analysed in detail.
