The purpose of this article is to introduce 7 types of newly confirmed ‘manuscript lending of novels’ and take a look at the features and characteristics of each data. The manuscript lending of novels that are to be handled under this article are Godamnangjeon, Geumhyangjeonggi, Doanghaeng, Wolhagain, Jeokseonguijeon, Jeongryeolgibyeol Chunhyangga, Hanhuryongjeon. Godamnangjeon for lending was loaned from Sanlim-dong Sechak-jeom (book lending shop). Through this data, the formation of this novel, its origin and chronology, as well as the distribution issues could be confirmed. Geumhyangjeonggi for lending is the loan from the Sujin-dong Sechak-jeom that it brought in the Banggakbon (block print publishing) novels to make the rent. This data has its implication in the point that it may take a look at the relationship between the manuscript for lending and Banggakbon published in Seoul. Doanghaeng for lending is the loaned libraries from Geumho Sechak-jeom that it has implication in the point that it may be clarified for issues involving in the publication for lending and women readers. In the meantime, Wolhagain for lending is the manuscript of Nae-dong Sechak-jeom that it has its importance in the point that how the Sechak-jeom had been operated since the new novel was published. Jeokseonguijeon for lending was loaned out from the Sechak-jeom in the local Janggyo area. Under this data, the basis to take a look at the currently diversified status and characteristics of the Janggyo Sechak-jeom has been prepared. And, Jeongryeolgibyeol Chunhyangga for lending is the publications lent to people from Sojeong-dong Sechak-jeom. Through this data, it is possible to compare with Namwongosa for lending, and it may enable to restructure the issues of the manuscript for lending prior to Namwongosa. Lastly, Hanhuryongjeon for lending is taken a look as it was the manuscripts borrowed from Hyangmok-dong Sechak-jeom. Through this data, even for the mutually different Sechak-jeom, it is assured that they shared the main text together. Through the detailed review of these data, it is expected to clarify the literature implication of manuscript for lending as well as the publishing cultural implication.
