ABSTRACT

Huangdineijing is a medical scripture that provides the rules of traditional medicine theory, consists of Suwen and Lingshu. The following facts were discovered by examining the publication and the use of lecture book of the Neijing in the Joseon Dynasty. 1) It is unclear if the reprinted version of Naeuiweon’s published version in 1615 was classified into 14 and 15 volumes. 2) There is no change in the contents of the publications of the Joseon Dynasty except for the Yunqilunao manuscripts made in the late Joseon Dynasty. 3) It wasn’t until mid 16th century that Suwen became a mandatory subject for medical bureaucracys. 4) The use of Neijing is closely related to the use of Geumwon Sadaega (4 Medical Masters of the JinYuan era)’s theory. 5) The use of Neijing was closely related to the development of a mediating theory to connect to the clinic. In the middle and late Joseon Dynasty, the mediators who played the role were Donguibogam and Ungi Medicine.
