AB - Although social mix program is an useful instrument to cure social exclusion in public rental housing, the focus of previous studies limited to physical aspects of the program. So the purpose of this study was to find out factors determining household acceptance about the social mix program. For this purpose, the researchers developed a multinomial logit model using a survey data. Among the variables relating to household preference, four groups of variables were selected, and the significance of the variables was tested. The results of analysis showed that age of household head, education level of household head, and housing type were significant factors for the acceptance of social mix program. The results of this study can be utilized for public agencies planning social mix programs.
