ABSTRACT

With the advancement of technology and the establishment of a non-face-to-face society, digital entrepreneurship and digital literacy have emerged as important factors in uncovering new entrepreneurial opportunities. Previous studies have highlighted the significance of digital entrepreneurship in the entrepreneurial intentions of companies related to online platforms and social media, particularly emphasizing the impact of entrepreneurs' capabilities and access to resources in a digital environment on their entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, various studies have been conducted on the development and effectiveness of educational programs aimed at promoting digital entrepreneurship, with results indicating that such education plays a crucial role in enhancing entrepreneurial intentions. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital literacy skills and usage on entrepreneurial intentions, and to investigate the mediating effect of digital literacy in the relationships between the innovativeness, proactiveness, risk-taking of digital entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial intentions. To verify the validity of the research model, a survey was conducted with 206 entrepreneurs who have startup experience, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 22. The analysis results confirmed the partial mediating effect of digital literacy in the relationship between digital entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions. In conclusion, the findings of this study are expected to contribute to deriving sustainable entrepreneurial outcomes in the context of digital transformation.
