ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to seek ways for sustainable development of organizations that provide welfare services to the disabled. This study investigated job characteristics of rehabilitation center employees for the disabled on organizational commitment composed of affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. Findings indicated job feedback, task significance and autonomy were positively related to affective commitment and job feedback was positively related to continuance commitment. Also, this study showed job feedback, task significance were positively related to normative commitment. In addition, this study reveals gender and career among the demographic variables have an effect on organizational commitment.
