ABSTRACT

The characteristics of local government heads and members of local councils were empirically tested, particularly on how professionalism and related careers have affected local government accountability measured by integrity. In the process, several key conclusions and implications can be drawn. Among the personal characteristics of the head of the group and the local clinic, if there is a high degree of professionalism and relevant experience, a research question is asked whether it is possible to secure accountability more effectively. The results of the 5th and 6th local election results, which showed the personal characteristics of the local politicians, are related to the differences and commonalities among the groups. It appears that there is. In the case of a group head, selecting a person with high professionalism can be positive for integrity, and in the case of a local council, a person with a lot of public office experience can be positive for integrity. In addition, in terms of integrity, the claim that generational changes should be made in terms of age can be supported, and educational background is not a positive explanation.
