Aims and Scope

JKSM is a journal published by the Korean Society for Musicology (KSM). It is published twice a year (June 30th and December 30th), with its 49th issue scheduled for publication in December 2025. The journal includes academic papers on a wide range of topics, from traditional musicology to convergence with other disciplines and music education. Its research objects encompass Western music, Korean traditional music, and popular music. While covering a wide range of topics, it strives to provide a reflective reflection on musicological research within the Korean context. We welcome contributions from researchers.
