In this article, I present a conceptual model of mind humanities to reveal the philosophical and ideological identity of mind humanities that is carried out as part of the Humanities Korea Project. In this model, I first introduce a spiral model of mind practice based on four minds: ego, metamind, Self, and relational mind. In this model, the more the axis of mind operation shifts towards ego, the more often the pain occurs, and the more the axis of mind operaton shifts toward the metamind, Self and relational mind, the more happiness and peace of mind arise. I discuss the mechanism by which pain is created with respect to the former, and with respect to the latter the process of mind healing and mind cultivation based on a sequential series of mind practices. As a matter of fact, I present four types of mind practice that focus on ego, metamind, Self, and relational mind. I believe that all kinds of mind practice, -healing and –cultivation methods of the ancient and modern times from East and West can be reconstructed into conceptual framework of mind practices. I propose to view the enterprise to discover, collect, reconstruct and reproduce various theories and practices that are directly and indirectly related to mind practice, -healing and -cultivation, and then to apply them to our modern living conditions as a central task of mind humanities. As a result, the mind humanities are understood as comprehensive practical studies related to management, administration, maintenance and repair of mind.
