AB - The philosophical therapy centered on counseling has been a subject of research over 30 years in the West. Starting with some pioneers, it has a history of about 20 years in Korea, and there are considerable research achievements and logic so it is difficult to examine all of them in this paper. Nevertheless, I tried to summarize the core contents as much as possible and to examine the meaning of the logic in a simple but critical way. Also I studied the notion of Xin[心] and moral cultivation of Zhuzi’s philosophy and examined how they can contribute to, or supplement the effects of philosophical therapy(if possible).
