ABSTRACT

Purpose:Thepurposeofthisstudywastoinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenjuveniledelinquency,cyberdelinquency, and mental health among adolescents. Methods: Data were obtained from the 5th wave of the Korea AdolescenceWelfarePanelSurvey2014.Thesubjectswere2,051highschoolstudents. Results:Significantdifferencesingenderandschooltypewerefoundforoffendersofbothjuvenileandcyberdelinquency,whilejuvenile offendersalsoshowedasignificantdifferenceinschoolcharacteristics.Significantcorrelationswerealsofound betweenoffendersofjuveniledelinquencyandvictimsofjuvenileandcyberdelinquency. Conclusion:Basedon thestudyfindings,self-esteem,lifesatisfaction,andpeerattachmentshouldbetakenintoconsiderationinprevention and management programs for juvenile delinquency and cyber delinquency in schools.
