This study has been analyzed the case of a male adolescent having trauma of sexual assault from his biological father in his early stage of development. It has been investigated that incest sexual assault had especially influenced toward the masculinity of a male adolescent having trauma. Sand play therapy has proceeded for two & half years and the patient has built 18 sand boxes out of 97 sessions. 64th session was family session with the father of the patient and 73rd to 76th sessions were family ones with the mother of the patient. This research has been through analyzing 11 meaningful sand boxes out of 18 and introduced the significant dreams of the patient. By this process, sand play therapy has proved its outstanding process so to reveal, disclose, and heal the suppressed in-depth unconscious.

This study performed a sandplay therapy targeting Korean-chinese children who have ever experienced the separation with their parents to analyze its effect. 6 sessions of sandplay therapy program were conducted to 8 children residing in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture who have experienced the separation with their parents for more than one year. To verify the effectiveness, Parent-child communication scale was conducted before and after the sandplay therapy to experimental group and waiting group, each one session of parent-child inter communication was conducted before and after the program respectively for qualitative analysis, and the individual interview was conducted to parents and children after total program. As a result of this study, the communication between children who have experienced the separation with their parents and Korean-chinese parents has been improved meaningfully, as a result of qualitative analysis, the program has brought the change in the expression and improvement awareness of children’s communication. In conclusion, the sandplay therapy has brought the improvement of communication between children and parents.

On April 25, 2015 Nepal suffered a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 8,000 people and left hundreds of thousands vulnerable. Three months later, in July the Korean Society of Sandplay Therapy and Namseoul University provided sandplay therapy to children in the city of Bhaktapur. They provided sandplay therapy to the children in a free and protected place to help prevent them from developing Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In the first therapy session, the clients created fearful, chaotic, and disorganized scenes with images of buried houses and frightened people, while in the last session images of snakes, Hindu gods, and fairies appeared. This paper will describe in detail two clients’ images to understand the religious context. The purpose of this paper is: to identify children’s problems, behavior changes after the earthquake, to seek the healing process through the images seen during the sandplay therapy, and to understand how these images are related to religious belief in order to help the client to feel better.
