ABSTRACT

Byun, Jung-min. 2002. A Study of Cognitive Process on the Korean Language: With the Verb. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea, 10(2). This study investigates cognitive process of the Korean verbs. I compared the sensibility with the perception in cognitive process. The process we can figure out goes through the steps sensation→perception→cognition. In the sensible dimension, the feedback to the stimulation is spontaneous and direct experience. On the other hand, perception is the process getting hold of properties of objects, which was based on the experiences caused by outer stimulation. And cognition is the process of conceptualizing after systemized the fragmentary experience. Cognition is the process of subjective knowledge, I explained the psychological process as 'thought', 'recognition', 'judgement', 'belief' in the levels of cognitive domain after perception level. Especially, 'belief' level is a certainty level, in this level, cognitive subject positively accept his judgement.
