AB - 本研究は、日本の竹島問題硏究會が'100問100答'を作って韓国や日本に散在している古地圖･古文獻上の「于山島=石島=獨島」論を否定したことを批判したものである。日本は1905年2月22日に韓国の領土であった独島に対して島根県の告示40号をもって竹島という名称で無主地であるとし日本の領土に編入する措置をとった。それも韓国が日露戦争の戦場となった混乱な状況を悪用して列強の批判を憂慮して中央政府ではなく地方の島根県の告示で隠密に行われた。日本がその措置の正当性を主張するためには編入措置をとった1905年以前の韓国領土としての証拠をすべて否定しなければならなかった。竹島問題硏究會がそれを支持するために作ったのが百問百答であった。その内容についてはまず＂韓國の古地圖の中の于山島は獨島ではない。＂＂日本の古地圖の中の獨島は日本領土である。＂＂幕府の渡航禁止令には獨島は含まれていなかった。＂＂明治政府も獨島を韓國領土として認めなかった。＂＂1900年の勅令にあった石島は獨島ではない。＂＂1905年の日本の竹島編入措置は正當であった。＂とのことであった。実際、日本の論理は客観性の乏しい矛盾に満ちた虚構であった。韓国の領土主権を否定するための歴史的事実を否定する作業であったからだ。さらに、この作業に携わった竹島問題研究会の者の中では国家や地方政府の機関で雇われた誤用学者はあるものの、研究を専業とする真の研究者はなかったからだ。
