AB - Introduction: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Cheongsim-tanggamibang on hypertriglyceridemia in a 37-year-old Taeeum- type male patient.
Case presentation: A 37-year-old male patient complained of hyperhidrosis and hot sensation was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridemia by blood test and ‘Liver-Heat Lung-Dry (Ganyeol-paeJo) severe pattern’ of Korean Medicine. Cheongsim-tanggamibang was executed twice everyday during 2 months from July, 23rd to September, 21st of 2019. The effectiveness of Cheongsim-tanggamibang was assessed with blood test.
Conclusions: After the Korean traditional medicine treatment with Cheongsim-tanggamibang prescription, blood triglyceride and total cholesterol levels decreased, and chief complaining symptoms with hot sensation also improved.
