1. Objectives This study is purposed to find Lee Je-Ma’s thoughts and intention proposed in the Gyukchigo(格致藁)ㆍYuryak(儒略) 2. Methods It was researched through comparative and overall study on Gyukchigo(格致藁)ㆍYuryak(儒略). 3. Results and Conclusions (1) On the assumption of AffairsㆍMindㆍBodyㆍObjects(事心身物) as the principle of existence and correlation, there are basic dualistic structure such as ‘Il(一)’(individual level) and ‘Man(萬)’(universal level) for explanation of Gyukchigo(格致藁)ㆍYuryak(儒略). (2) Human who easily have individual inclination of mind(privateㆍdissolutenessㆍidlenessㆍdesire) and wickedness (stinginessㆍextravaganceㆍidlenessㆍfraud) are the being making individual ethics of behavior by earnestnessㆍintelligenceㆍcapabilityㆍdiligence(誠慧能勤) and universal ethics by WisdomㆍProprietyㆍJusticeㆍHumanity(智禮義仁) through devotionㆍrightㆍpracticeㆍconcentration of mindㆍheartㆍbodyㆍpower. (3) Human in the world having individual immanent psychological four element(意慮膽志) and universal expressional four element(聽視言貌) are under a bias toward wickedness because of inclination of mind. So extending of individual ethics of behavior and completion of universal ethics are essential and indispensable. (4) The final aim of human being in the universe is bringing universal ethics of behavior(WisdomㆍProprietyㆍJusticeㆍHumanity(智禮義仁)) to perfection. (5)Devotionㆍrightㆍpracticeㆍconcentration(誠正修一) of mindㆍheartㆍbodyㆍpower(意心身力) are developmental notions of earnestnessㆍintelligenceㆍcapabilityㆍdiligence(誠慧能勤), essential individual ethics for living in the world, and preceding element for moral edification, social behavior and administration of the state.

Objectives The present study purposed to examine Dongmu Lee Je-Ma’s Sasang philosophy from the viewpoint of Che-Yong relation and to understand the effect of Che-Yong relation on Dongmu philosophy. 2. Methods First, we briefly compared the concept of Che-Yong relation in Jeongju philosophy, which has a dualistic philosophical structure, with the concept of Han Suk-Ji’s harmonious Che-Yong relation, which has a monistic philosophical structure and, based on the result, analyzed the characteristics of the concept of Che-Yong in Dongmu philosophy focused on Seongmyeong theory, Sadan theory and Hwakchung theory in Dongyi Suse Bowon. 3. Results and Conclusions Jeongju philosophy is different from Dongmu philosophy in its philosophical structure characterized by Che-Yong relation, and the concept of Che-Yong in Dongmu philosophy forms the characteristics of Han Suk-ji’s monistic harmonious Che-Yong relation. This produces results as follows. (1) Form a universal view of human beings centering of man’s autonomous will and possibility. (2) Have a philosophical structure understood not as a partial thought but as a total thought. (3) Assert that man has a good nature fundamentally and is obliged to practice goodness. (4) Assume that all human beings are equal. (5) It is assumed that the structural characteristics of harmonious Che-Yong relation in Dongmu philosophy can be the ground of definition of Silhak (practical science) in Oriental philosophy. It can be said that the realities of the universe and human beings can be discussed in philosophical structure with the logic of harmonious Che-Yong relation based on the unity of time and space. The philosophical logic based on the realities can be defined as Silhak.

1. Objectives This study is written to investigate the biblographical facts on the book Geumge Bibang(Secret Prescriptions of Sasang Golden Box). 2. Methods The Biblographical study through chronological research of several books concerning Sasang Constitutional Medicine including Dongyisusebowon, Dongyisasangjinryoeuijeon after Dr. Lee Je-Ma’s death was accomplished. 3. Results and Conclusions There are so many herb medicines using just one herb drug not several herb drugs according to many diseases in this book. Accrording to the writer of this book, Lee Min-Bong, just one herb drug to each disease was a useful way to treat that disease in a poor countryside life. There are 85 adult's diseases, 8 women’s diseases, 47 children’s disease, 11 smallpox’s diseases and 30 grotesque diseases. This book of Geumgebibang was written by Lee Minbong not by Cheondeoksanin in 1935 and published in 1936 and it was the first book covering the herb drug and diets to treat diseases according to Sasang Constitutional Types. It was first found in this book that Sasang could be explained with Yin-Yang relationship and Sasang Constitutional Types could be explained with characters like dragon, cow, donkey and horse, and with classification of faces and behaviors.
