The Anatomy & Biological Anthropology is the official journal of The Korean Association of Physical Anthropologists. Abbreviated title is ‘Anat Biol Anthropol’. The name of the journal is changed from the Korean Journal of Physical Anthropology launched in 1988. Anatomy & Biological Anthropology is an international forum for multi-perspective network of all fields of anatomy and biological anthropology. The journal publishes papers ranging from the basic to the applied fields, and covers all levels of biological organizations in human bodies as well as in experimental model systems. The journal encourages submissions of various studies such as gross anatomy, clinical anatomy, histology, developmental biology as well as paleoanthropology, paleopathology, biological anthropology. Anatomy & Biological Anthropology is interest to biological anthropologists, paleopathologists, forensic scientists, anatomists, cell biologists, clinicians, and researchers working in biotechnology as well. Manuscript submissions receive prompt attention from the Editor-in-Chief and undergo peer review with supervision of the journal’s Editorial Board. Anatomy & Biological Anthropology is features 1) original research articles, 2) review articles, 3) case reports, and 4) short communications. It is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December each year. Supplement numbers are at times published. All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed.

 

Total or a part of the articles in this Journal are abstracted in KoreaMed, Synapse, EBSCO PUBLISHING.
