Aims and Scope

The Journal of Chinese Cultural Studies, a registered journal, published its first issue in Dec. 2002 and has maintained its status, at home and abroad, as an academic journal with nationwide reach with the aim of securing the right framework for criticism and understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese cultural research.

This journal contains research results on various topics related to Chinese culture, including cultural policy, regional and urban culture, art and motion picture, literary works, and language. Readers can find differentiated, comprehensive, and specialized results spanning the entire Chinese culture.

As a result of actively encouraging submissions from differentiated and professional Chinese culture and cultural research experts, the journal publishes high-quality papers supported by the Korea Research Foundation. Foreign scholars, including those from China, Taiwan, Macao, and Hong Kong, continue to submit their studies to this journal, which are published upon review by specialists from the relevant fields.
