ABSTRACT

Recently, all most all countries and citizens in the world have been faced with a lot of natural disasters such as typhoons, rainstorms, floods, heavy snowstorms and others. In order to protect the life and property of the ordinary people, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the disaster and safety perception between China and Korea for enhancing the international cooperation andto respond properly to the disasters. For attaining the research goal, this research conducted a survey of university students, a total of 360 people(215 in Korea and 145 in China) to gain information as to the students’ level of understanding about disasters and safety perception. As a result, we suggested that there is no difference gap between the Korean and Chinese students. Responses from the two groups varied little.
