ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze a research trend of feminine leadership for the past 20 years in Korea. We identified 36 studies on feminine leadership and categorized them by subjects, methods and types. The results are as follows. The study subjects were relatively limited, and a qualitative method was dominant in conceptualization of feminine leadership. The effects of feminine leadership on various factors were also investigated. Based on the results of this analysis, the following implications were derived. First, research subjects need to be extended to a wider range of various organizations and facilitates. Second, it is necessary to use various methods in accordance with the topic and purpose of research. Third, it is crucial to conduct a research on the development of tools that can measure feminine leadership.
