ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the types of online participation in the 6th localelection. In particular, the analysis of the involvement and participationtype effect. Research results, new types were not involved than in the past. Candidate were higher than provide information on the voter. Greaterparticipation gap between Seoul and the provinces. Online campaign forlocal elections, despite the need to contribute to the grass-roots democracyand provide a lot of local information, otherwise showed. Online participation is greatly influential in real politics. Theintervention of regulatory or government appears more online. Thus, votersneed to worry about the democratic online campaign strategy.
