AB - “The crow terrace poetry case” refers to the case which the censorate officials impeached Su Shi for having written satirical literature about the government and had him locked up in ‘The Crow Terrace' for interrogation. This paper treats the proses related to this case. Firstly, Su Sui's statements on the related prose are more brief than those on poems. Secondly, some of the prose were used to prove the social connections with Su Shi. Lastly, some of Su Shi's prose distinctively criticized the New Policies.
