AB - This study is to cognitively analyze new words (types ‘@’ and ‘X+’) that deviate from the traditional Chinese word form, examine their socio -cultural significance, and reveal the process in which they contribute to the expansion of Chinese coined components. The research method is cognitively analyzed through FrameNet's ‘contact’ frame and image schematic metaphor.
The main results are as follows. The newly coined word ‘@’ is a sign used in modern contact tools such as e-mail and social networks, and a digital contact frame was constructed by reflecting the economic feasibility of the language. The ‘X+’-type newly coined word means that the ‘+’ symbol represents the meaning of ‘convergence’, which means that technology or other areas are fused to the previous coined word component, which is the result of linguistic fixation of social changes such as the revitalization of startup activities in China. Therefore, it can be said that the emergence of new words with a specific form in Chinese is expanding the coined components of Chinese words and shows the dynamic changes in Chinese language culture accepting the economic feasibility of language.
