AB - In this paper, I researched the starting point on “Korean Christian Ethics”.The ethical encounter between the East and the West occurred during the 17th, 18th century in Korea. For 18th century korean christian accepted Jesuit ministry works for the Western-Christian ethics. I focused on Jesuit’s ethical thought in the Far East. 18th century korean Christian accepted Jesuit ministry works for the Western-Christian ethics. In 18th Korean Christian Society, Matteo Ricci’s ethical thought and Pantoja’ Seven Victories (七克) has a great influence on a religious life. The main focus of this thesis is on moral and ethics in latter Josun. For despite a great difference between Seo-Hahk(Jesuit ministry works) and Neo- Confucian Ethics in latter Josun, I find the starting point on “Korean Christian Ethics”.
