ABSTRACT

In this paper, I want to survey the condition of perfect happiness. We normally think that happiness is subjective state of mind, but we should treat happiness as concept connected community directively. And also we must relate happiness with spiritual dimension beyond public well-fare. I propose well-being as individual happiness, and well-fare as happiness of public dimension, and then spiritual well-being as happiness of spiritual dimension. I hold that perfect happiness realize in our life when these three dimension come true harmoniously. Today, well-being becomes new trend in our society. This trend combines commercialized consumption culture. But this is not good well-being. Individual happiness means not pleasure nor content, but well and good life. Therefore happiness means that we live good life with virtue. Well-fare means happiness of institutional and collective concept. If we enjoy the happiness, we must stand on the basis spiritual well-being that gives the meaning and ultimate goal of life. If we accept our life as the gift and blessing of God and thank to God, we will feel spiritual happiness. This is true and everlasting happiness that fulfill life itself. Therefore true happiness is good life with virtue and good relationship with others, and good spirit with God.
