ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to investigate the positive effect of the general education class to positive psychological capital and global citizenship for the students. This study is conducted with the general education classes of ‘Global Citizenship and Leadership’ held in S Women’s University. Total 187 quantitative data were gathered from the students who attended the class course. The results of the study are as follows. The empirical test result verified positive impact of the lecture on enhancing positive psychological capital and global citizenship level of the students. In sum, this research provided that general education class mostly included self-understanding, leadership and citizenship agendas, which could contribute on reinforcing university student’s positive self-image and capability and mission as a global citizen.
