The purpose of this study is to analyze the subjectivity perception of older generations on the cultivated aging. So, the first step is defining the concourse refered to the collection of all the possible statements that the respondents can make about ‘aging’. From the concourse, 34 statements, called Q-sample. were developed, and the Q-sample was sorted by 34 respondents, or P-sample who are composed of respondents over the 40s and 50s generations. By Q-factor-analysis, P-sample is sorted into four categories as follows: The results of the analysis are defined as four types. First, <Type Ⅰ> was named as “Life-style type”, <Type Ⅱ> was named as “Life is thinking type”, <Type Ⅲ> was named as “My Life type” and <Type Ⅳ> was named “Family Thinking type”. On the other hand, when I was in the perception of the back, the respondent showed a somewhat higher consensus of the whole idea, that the ‘family could think’ of a statement. In this study, we look forward to expanding our research to a wider range of targets in consideration of the limitations of generalization by utilizing the research methods of principal inertia. On the basis of the result from this analysis, a possibility of application of qualitative methodology as an exploratory study for the empirical research is expected.

This study pointed out that there is a possibility that the liberal arts education can be integrated across the boundaries of scholarship, focusing on Snow's ‘two culture concept’ and Wilson's concept of ‘consilience’. Based on this, I emphasized the role of ‘liberal arts college’ which practiced the consciousness and I tried to find out that writing can function as various complex links. The liberal arts education in the period of fusion saw that it should play a role of a bridge that is necessary for consensus of knowledge together where the other two cultures meet. And writing - mediated education can be a good tool to express and communicate what we understand by experiencing the unfamiliar world of two different cultures. We need words to exchange opinions, and we need words to organize our thoughts. Discussions and presentations also use language, and text analysis also uses language as a tool. Therefore, I strongly advocated the possibility of linking the creative and convergence type education with the writing and communication lesson of the existing university common culture. The efforts of the writing section at these liberal arts colleges will bring about the creation of a fusion talented person who can speak and understand the languages of two different cultures using ‘bilingual’.

In the novella 「Our Twisted Hero」 by Lee Mun-yol, Han Byeong-tae, Eom Seok-dae, teacher in charge of Grade5, teacher in charge of Grade6, and classmates face with different dilemmas. In the novel, Han Byeong-tae faced with the dilemma of battle, revenge, whistle-blower, and master & slave in order. Eom Seok-dae faced with the ‘dilemma of danger’. The teacher in charge of Grade5 faced with the ‘dilemma of truth’ while the teacher in charge of Grade6 faced with the disciplinary dilemma. The classmates faced with the ‘dilemma of master & slave, bandwagon, and whipping & assault’. This paper introduced the social psychology to humanistic texts to analyze the dilemmas of Han Byeong-tae and classmates, the mathematical thinking method to calculate the number of cases more segmentalizing the dilemmas of Han Byeong-tae, and the business administration to discuss the dilemmas and leadership of Eom Seok-dae, teacher in charge of Grade5, and teacher in charge of Grade6. If dilemmas are viewed in the convergent perspective, they could be approached with diverse perspectives and methods. In the liberal education of university, the convergence writing education though dilemma narratives could promote the convergence of diverse academic areas in depth.
