ABSTRACT

In Korean language, various postpositional particles are attached to an ending of a word. Among them is ‘–Kodo’, which is used in daily living and appears in Test of Proficiency in Korean. But ‘-Kodo’ has been ambiguously explained in the textbooks which are currently used in China. Even worse, some textbooks has no explanation of that point. Considering this problem, this work focuses on the ending ‘-Kodo’ which connects two clauses, and tries to understand the meaning of the ending so that proper measures for improving the contents of the textbooks for Chinese students could be found.
