Information for Authors


Thank you for choosing to submit your research to Health Communication Research. The journal accepts electronically submitted manuscripts via email. Please send your manuscript to the editorial office at: hcredit@naver.com.

Structure

Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract;  introduction, literature review, methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; and figure captions (as a list).

Word Limits

Authors should submit articles no longer than 7,000 words (excluding references, table, etc.).

Style & References

Please refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition).


Please ensure that the manuscript is appropriately blinded. Authors should not include any information regarding the author's personal identity or institutional affiliation outside of the title page. Please double-check your manuscript for:

  • Self-citations "in press";
  • Self-referencing citations, including author identity
  • Institutional affiliation (often in the Methods and Acknowledgement sections)
  • Any indicator of either author(s) or institution(s) in the title of the manuscript file, e.g., "YourName_Manuscript.doc."


Permission: Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright owners when using lengthy quotations (500 words or more), tables, or figures published elsewhere.
