For all ages and countries, most societies have the tradition or customs of supporting the old parents. But the mode of it is largely changing with the rapid change of modern societies. The purpose of this paper is to research the directions of insuring substantiality for parents supporting. I divide the social environmental change into the two : the structural change and cultural change. Mainly the structural change of family and population is belong to the former. The sense of value in Hyo or the consciousness of parents supporting is included into the latter. In order to insure substantiality for parents supporting, we firstly need to reinforce both the family’s private supporting and then the government’s public supporting. The government’s public supporting being grounded by law is helpful to complement the weakness of the family’s private supporting.

Some local governments recognize the importance of Hyo and ard enacting an ordinance by passing a "law on supporting and promoting the Hyo practice. So Hyo practice education in school is growing rapidly. The Hyo practice education is also practicing actively as an alternative that is a new education of personality associated with a school violence. As a result establishing a direction of the Hyo practice education is urgently needed. The Characteristics of the Hyo practice education are mysterious, revival of life, mourning at the graves of one´s parents during 3 years, physical damage and so on. Though we are hard to follow the Hyo practice in changing times, this study approached the direction of Hyo mind rather Hyo action. This study search the traditional Hyo practice problem and limitation, and consider a meaning about the need of the Hyo practice education. This study also suggest the direction through the Hyo practice's present conditions and problems. First, the Hyo practice education should carry out consistently. Second, the Hyo practice education should carry out as soon as possible when they are children. Third, the Hyo practice education should contacted generally by various media. Forth, the Hyo practice education should carry out for the parents and children at the same time. Fifth, We should use the variety Hyo experience programs practically. It is important to recognize the virtue of Hyo should follow the practice and the study of Hyo as a educational perspectives about the direction should research consistently.

Nowadays marked movement of population is taking place globally for the purpose of economic activities or education. Such population movement has been occurring to a great extent in Korea as well in the process of modernization, industrialization, and globalization due to an increase in immigrant workers and married immigrant women since the late 1980's. Because of this, our society is undergoing rapid changes toward a multicultural society, which causes much difficulty in communication and harmonization of the society along with social problems. Amidst these changes, therefore, we as well as those who form multiculture families should be adapted to the society and move to the stages of harmonization. Objective of the present study is to search fo mutually common cultures and establish the social spirit of communication through formation of a mutual bond of sympathy for the greater harmonization of our society. The core of such spirit has been considered as the culture of filial duty, which constitutes a spiritual and practicing culture of not only our country but also East Asia. Thus it is aimed at finding from the country's songs how the filial duty is revealed in the songs of 'mother's day' or 'remembrance of parents' in the countries of married immigrant women forming the multiculture families, and establishing a constructive multicultural society as cultural people with the same culture of filial duty through better understanding of the spirit and the culture of their societies.
