AB - Since modern, while the balance between the private realm and the public realm have been lost, and man falls in mental devastization. And this can be the outcome of modernity. Arendt' issue is started from this modernity. She tried to overcome that by restoring original politics.With the departure of modernity, the condition of man' life collapsed, by that, many malady was yielded. It's course is three. First, while the economic problem of the private realm occupied the public realm in modern, "social realm" appeared and excessively got fat. This situation distorted politics by displacing administration for politics as the foremost mode of human relationship. Second, the development of the social realm red to a consumer's society. Here, a consumer's society needs labor activity, but it is only a repetitive and futile activity. Third, a the leveling demands of the social was extended to whole realm of society, and our society was transferred to mass society. Mass society trends the totalitarian tendency in that it is unified one value, finally it yields mass culture. Mass culture is influenced by a productive circle, and is lost the worldliness. Thus man is controled by the meaninglessness of life. Under this situation, man is deprived of a human relation. And This situation can overcome through the political action.
