Objective : Establishment and development of Woongihak on Korea requires detailed study into its contents including each period's Woongihak theory and clinical practices. Method : Woongihak is assumed to have been introduced during the Coreyo Dynasty. Then its development stage is divided into early, middle, later periods in Chosun dynasty, and the category further developed into the Japanese colonial period and then the post-liberation era. These periods were given respect to while medical textx and data related to Woongihak were collected and analyzed. Result & Conclusion : The general consensus is that Woongihak was introduced for the first time during the early period of Coryeo Dynasty, but there was no text around this era regarding Woongihak could have been found. Woongihak was found in Uibang-yuchwi, which entered Chosun Dynastyin early period and was published, where it annotated Sanghanjiggyeog, Saminbang, and eumjeungyaglye. Donguibogam, which was published during the middle period, introduced Woongi by hosting a sentence of Cheonjiungi, and Chochanggyeol was published during the late period and brought the level of Woongihak in Korea a step further. Lectures on Diagram of Woongihakw as published during the Japanese colonial era, but it lacks uniqueness since it was a translation of Suwenrushiyunqilunao. Another book published during this period was OunyukgiUihakbogam by Cho Wonhui. It brought a heavy influence on the generations to come because it drew up prescriptions through the Gaegun and Gaeggi or Date of Birth of Date of impregnation. It was easy to use and highly potent. The author of this paper also collected about 55 types of Woongi texts published after the liberation of Korea, but there are sure to be many that is missing from the collection.

Objective : The explanations regarding the function, region, and related internal organ and meridian of Jonggeun as discovered in historical texts were studied in an attempt to understand the true concept of Jonggeun. Method : Texts were searched to extract sentences that are relasted to Jonggeun, and these were used to categorize and analyze the area, related meridian and organ, function, and disease symptom. Thereafter, how Jonggeun affects the whole body and the regions of Jonggeun were contemplated. Result & Conclusion : Jonggeun can be divided into what is related to sexual intercourse, and into sokgol and Ligigwan. Here, things related to sexual intercourse explains the function of penis arousal. The functions of Sokgol and Ligigwan signifies that they serve as the base points for the body when it exercises, and they cooperate with Chungmaek to provide blodo and vitaility to body joints. There are two major differing opinions regarding the region of Jeonggeun. One explains that it exists within the genitalia, and the other sees fit to believe that it exists within small abdomen. Considering the functions of Sokgol and Ligigwan, it is right to view that Jonggeun exists around Gigahyeol, and the view limited to genitalia only considers Jonggeun around sexual intercourse.

Objective : Korean medicine normally explained Kuang as a symptom arising from the exaltation caused by excessive yangqi. Therefore, a lot of arguments existed surrounding Jinkuiyaolue's explanation of Kuang as Yangqishuai. Therefore, the paper will review the exisitng opinions regarding this issue, and studied the original meaning of Jinkuiyaolue. Method : First, the opinions of the historical doctors related to the clauses within Jinkuiyaolue are reviewed. Existing opinions are divided into categories, and their meanings and limitations are analyzed. Followed by this, Huangdineijing and later generations' annotations were studied to discover a way to distinquish Yin and Yang of Jinkuiyaolue's Yangqi within the Sinqi. Result & Conclusion : The disease pathogen as explained within Jinkuiyaolue can be understood as an activity of Simqi, and it's difficult to view it as the Yin and Yang in terms of blood qi. Therefore, Jinkuiyaolue refers to the deficiency in terms of the aspect of Yang within the activity of Sinqi. The Yangqi of this can be viewed as an activity of Shenming.
