AB - Foregoing comparative examination of the travel route, distribution, function and operation of Jeong-Kyung(正經) and Ki-kyung(奇經) comes to the conclusion as the following. 1. Jeong-kyung(正經) is composed of congruous pairs between left and right which perpendicularly reach extremities, and is divided into Eum-kyung(陰經) and Yang-kyung(陽經) that act as obverse and reverse(表裏) of each other in accordance with the mutual relations of Jang-Bu(藏府) they belong with, which are the sources of relevant Kyung-ki(經氣), Jeong-kyung(正經) specializes the corpus into Kae-Hap-Chu(開闔樞) and directs each part of them to manifest its own function. On the contrary, each one of Ki-kyung(奇經) has its characteristic route of travel. It is not directly supplied with the Ki(氣) of Jang-Bu(藏府), and its obverse-reverse(表裏) differentiation of Eum-Yang(陰陽) is defined with its own intrinsic function. The nature of Ki-kyung(奇經) is inclined to coordination rather than specialization, so that it preserves a harmonious homogeneity of the whole organism, coordination the current of Ki(氣) in each part of the corpus which is specialized by Jeong-kyung(正經). 2. Jeong-kyung(正經) is divided into 12 pairs of Kyung-maek(十二經脈) like branches of plants in accordance with the principle of Sam-eum-Sam-yang(三陰三陽). and intermediates communication between the Ki(氣) of Jang-Bu(藏府), the pivot of life, and the Ki(氣) of universe. So Jeong-kyung(正經) presides over the metabolism of vegetative Ki(氣) which is responsive to variations in the universe. Ki-kyung(奇經) brings the differentiated 12 paris of Kyung-maek(十二經脈) back together into Eum-Yang(陰陽) and fuses their Ki(氣) into an unique Ki(氣) called Won-ki(元氣) which runs through Im-mack(任脈) and Dok-maek(督脈). So Ki-kyung(奇經) presides over animated consciousness and corporeal activity of an organism which autonomously surmounts variations in the universe and is not dependent upon them. Consequently, a human being as an organism can maintain his corpus by means of differentiation operated by Jeong-kyung(正經) to manage the metabolism of Ki(氣) which participates in the vital activities responding to the Ki(氣) of Sam-eum-Sam-yang(三陰三陽) that is wandering in the universe, and can preserve his life and coordinate vital activities to suit them for his aim of life by means of integration operated by Ki-kyung(奇經) and founded on Won-ki(元氣) to build an individual Ki-field(氣場).
