ABSTRACT

The treatise on the Natural Truth in Ancient Times is the first section of 'Huang Chi Nei Ching So Moon(黃帝內經素問)', and is discribed of a way to maintain good health and to protect oneself against disease with being in harmony with the laws of Nature. The physiological change by going with his age. The meaning of 'Sang Go(上古)' is the time before the old days, that is so long long time ago and the sense of 'Chun Jin(天眞)' is the genuine truth of Nature, that is something to be endowed innately. This section is stated what is for the ancients to obtain the secret of longevity by taking a serious view of caring way of genuine Nature and effect that 'Qi(氣)' of Nature influence on a growing process of people. Therefore it is said that this section is 'Sang Go Chun Jin Ron(上古天眞論)'. This section is concentrated on the laws of preserving and raising to protect the essence of the kidney, the relations of the essence of the kidney and the glowing process, the key of health and longevity. The main point is stated below. In part 1, it is emphasized that the way of preserving and raising is their vital spirit to be preserved within, weakness and noxious is influences and injurious winds to be avoided, the habits of eating foods and beverages by rule, the customs of rising and retiring regularly by comparing life patterns of ancients with presents's. And if he don't maintain their harmony with that laws, that could bring about senility and decrepitude. In part 2, it is stated importance of the emanations of the kidneys by explaining relation man and woman's age and that. It is pointed out that day should try to preserve the emanations of kidneys because the birth, growth, declination, senility, longevity. early death, function of raising relied on ups and downs of the emanations of kidneys. In part 3, it is stated what is different in health, longevity according to how to preserve and raise by comparing the Spiritual Men, the Sapients, the Sages and the Men of Excellent Virtue. As we see above, in this section it is stated an according Nature way as a whole, that is preserving and raising, keeping health, extending life span as a way of living. And it is stressed not medical cure but importance of prevention of disease and training of body.
