ABSTRACT

This paper referred to the relation between operation of Shinji[神志] and function of Wi-gi[衛氣]. Gi[氣] is the principle agent to practice it when Shinji, as a controller of a living thing represents the will of life. Specially, Wigi is an intermediator of operation and motive power of 'Shinji', and determines the ups and downs of activity and the response of it. Chilgyu[七竅] are the direct control passages when Shinji comes in and out to the interior and exterior of body, and perceives and receives informations and reacts on those appropriately. Therefore, we can control the operation and condition of Shinji with physical methods to control Gi.
