ABSTRACT

Acupuncture is the therapy that has been developed in the Orient traditionally. The therapy is what improve Kyoungrak(special nerve parts around the body which shows the signs of illness for acupuncture) function to cure a disease. Recently, Western medicine mostly depended on drugs and a surgical operation changes the course to the traditional Oriental medicine, and searches for the new solution. Like this, the Acupuncture therapy is took notice of both in the East and in the West. It has the merits such as the convenience of operation, fewer side effect comparatively, wise the extent of practical use. But it also has the adverse reactions such as fainting in the middle of acupuncture, the injury of the internal organs. For the prevention of these adverse reactions and the improvement of a curative effect, there are the cases that prohibit the acupuncture therapy or need careful attention. In this thesis, we considered the acupuncture contraindication in 『Hwangjenaekyoung』 from various angles such as the patient condition, the nature of a disease, the date and time, the weather, a region for acupuncture.
