AB - 「だけに」와 「にだけ」가 나타나는 환경(분포)을 관찰하면, 수적인 면에서나 환경의 다양성에 있어서나,「だけに」가 「にだけ」보다 많이 나타난다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 특히, 「にだけ」는 〔+V〕 소성을 갖고 있는 범주 뒤에서는 나타나지 않는다. 즉, 「だけに」가 「にだけ」 보다 많이 나타날 수 있는 이유는, 「にだけ」가 〔+V〕 소성 뒤에 나타날 수 없다는 제약이 있는 한편, 「だけに」는 이러한 제약이 없기 때문이라고 생각할 수 있다.
또한, 「にだけ」가 나타나지 않는 환경에서의 「だけに」의 의미해석을 분석해 보면, 久野(1983)가 주장한 「だけに」의 「必要最小限」、「絶対限定」이라는 양쪽 모두의 의미는 나타나지 않고, 「絶対限定」의 의미해석만이 나타남을 알 수 있다. 한편, 「にだけ」가 나타나는 환경에서의 「だけに」에는 「必要最小限」과 「絶対限定」의 의미해석이 모두 가능하다. 이러한 분석 결과를 근거로, 久野(1983)의 주장은, 「だけに」는 자신이 나타나는 환경에 따라서 「必要最小限」, 「絶対限定」이라는 양쪽 모두의 의미해석이 가능한 경우와, 어느 한쪽의 의미해석만이 가능한 경우가 있다고 수정되어야 할 것이다.
나아가, 「にだけ」가 나타나지 않는 환경에서의 「だけに」의 기능을 분석해 보면, 「だけに」는 「だけ＋に」와 같이 분석할 수 없으며, 이유를 나타내는 하나의 성분으로 분석해야 한다는 사실도 알 수 있다.
